Crazy Taxi is a racing game that has been developed and published by Sega. This game was released on 30^th September 2002. It is the first game in the Crazy Taxi series.

The objective of the game is to pick up the engers and take them to their desired destination as soon as possible. While taking them to their destination you can earn money by performing different multiple stunts like taking the taxi as close as possible to other vehicles. A large green arrow will guide you to your destination.When you will reach at your destination you must stop the taxi in a specific zone. If the destination is reached within time the enger will give fare to the player which will be added in the total money earned by the player. But if the player in unable to reach the destination on time then the enger will jump out of the car without paying the fare.

Player can select a driver of his/her choice and can select the time limit i.e.3,5 and 10 minutes. The graphics of Crazy Taxi are quite impressive and the sound tracks are also laudable featuring bands like Pivit, Total Chaos and Too Rude.
